Where we Worship
in Lagoa
Lagoa
In Lagoa we meet at the
Convento de Sao Jose, a
beautifully restored Convent, many hundreds of years old. Our
normal service time is in the early evening, please see Service
and times (right).
Directions
From the motorway, take the LAGOA/SILVES Exit, then
LAGOA, and then LAGOA NORTE. As you come into the town you will
have come to the first roundabout (in the town) take the first
exit, which is effectively straight on (see Google map benteath), and after 200 metres you
will see an archway over the road (see photo far left above). This is the Convent. There is
parking available if you turn right a few metres before the
archway. If you come into Lagoa from another direction, look for
the brown signs to Convento S. Jose (see photo 2nd from left
above). The signs will get you into the general area, but the
Convent is behind the Lagoa CTT (post) Sorting Office (not the
public post office shop).
