Summer 2010

High Seas Expedition – Exploring the Mighty love of God!
Try telling a youngster aged between 5 and 13 that for the next 5 days they would have a really fantastic, energetic and fun filled time at a Bible Camp - and they may not believe you! But that’s exactly what happened last week at the High Seas Expedition presented by All Saints Anglican Church Algarve in Almancil Over 65 children, and 35 Adults took part in the camp, designed to explore the mighty love of God, lead by Youth Leaders who had jetted in from as far afield as Florida, Belgium, Germany and the UK. The days were jammed packed with Adventures at Bible Voyages, Ship Wreck Games, Clipper Crafts, Sail Away Cinema, Goodies from the Galley, Spotlight Drama, high energy singing and dancing at Sing & Play Splash and much, much more, all based around the theme of sailing a Vast Voyage on the High Seas. This is the 6th Annual Summer Bible Camp presented by All Saints Anglican Church and in addition to the Children who eagerly look forward to the Camp every year there were many, many new excited faces. Jo Blackman, Camp Director said “The concept of our Summer Camp is to tell the Children of God’s overwhelming and steadfast love for them in a fun and memorable way. Many of the Children who attend have not and may not ever set foot in a Church but for 5 days every summer we can pass on a message which we hope will impact on their lives. We thank Sao Lourenco International School for allowing us to use their premises as our venue and I am truly grateful for the help and support of all the willing workers and members of the Congregation that made this Camp possible. It was a truly life changing experience”
